Interested in portrait sculpture?
Learn the foundations of portrait sculpture with Mastering Facial Features - a hands-on, step-by-step short course where you’ll sculpt an eye, ear, nose, and mouth while exploring structure, form, and proportion as part of your creative journey. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your existing skills, this course provides step-by-step guidance through the essential techniques of sculpting the human head and face.
Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn about anatomical structure, proportion, and expression as you explore the process of working with oil clay and plasticine. Each session builds on the last, helping you gradually gain confidence and control with your materials and tools. Unlike water-based clay, plasticine uses oil and wax as binders, meaning it never dries out—staying soft, workable, and ideal for learning, shaping, and carving fine details.
