Completing this skill set will help you gain the skills and techniques needed to work effectively and in a timely manner in the VET sector
This is the final skill set of the four required to gain your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Planning, and facilitating online learning will be covered in this skill set as will the assessment of competence of students in an online setting. You'll be able to translate your own expertise and skills into a training context after successfully completing the series of four skill sets.
You'll be provided with the skills and knowledge needed to:
- interpret VET policy context
- operate within the VET delivery and compliance frameworks
- work effectively with vocational learners
- plan, organise, facilitate and review learning that is delivered online, using suitable delivery methods, digital tools and existing learning resources and materials
- assess a student's or group of students' competence in an online environment
- organise personal work schedules, to monitor and obtain feedback on work performance and to maintain required levels of competence.
- plan to improve your own professional practice
