Koomba Birdal

The Koomba Birdal (Big Spark) Program is a dedicated training and career pathway that celebrates your cultural identity while empowering you to grow and succeed. Designed to reduce the barriers that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders may face in education by providing you with accessible, customised, and supported training.  

Our program's aim is to increase your employment and/or further your education options with opportunities to connect with Aboriginal Career Guidance Officers. By providing you with a culturally safe and supportive environment, you can build practical skills, grow in confidence, and enhance your career opportunities.

Certificate II in Engineering Pathways

Midland Campus 

This course equips you with the skills, knowledge, and work-ready attitudes employers expect from apprentices in industries such as rail transport infrastructure and maintenance, mining, automotive, or hydraulics.

 

 

Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) (Electrotechnology Pre-apprenticeship)

East Perth Campus

This course equips you with the skills, knowledge, and work-ready attitudes employers expect from apprentices in the electrical, instrumentation, and electrical servicing trades.
CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways (Remote Area Building)

Balga Campus

By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to take the next step into into employment in building and construction, particularly in remote and rural communities.
