This skill set is designed to improve your English language skills to effectively participate in a range of straightforward interactions at work. You will develop your speaking and listening skills so you can take part in formal and casual conversations that may involve some specialised or technical language.
Completion of this skill set and the Reading and Writing for Employment Skill Set will provide you with two units in the Certificate III in EAL (Employment).
- Participate in formal and casual conversations in workplace contexts
- Follow spoken instructions and directions in workplace contexts
- Give spoken instructions in workplace contexts
You will need to have basic English language knowledge and skills to be able to communicate in the workplace.
