This course is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates looking to start a career in the Hair and Beauty Industry. An exciting opportunity to gain a dual qualification and double your career opportunities.
During the course you will learn the following skills:
- Shampooing, colouring and braiding hair
- Maintaining hairdressing tools
- Scheduling appointments
- Merchandising
- Workplace health and safety
- Design and apply make-up
- Conduct salon financial transactions
- Receive and handle retail stock
- Communicate as part of a salon team
- Advise on beauty products and services

Fees
Our Enhanced Aboriginal Engagement Team (EAE) will provide indicative fees upon receiving your expression of interest.

Extra information
Personal and Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required. You will have access to a Koolark Aboriginal Student Mentor and Enhanced Aboriginal Engagement Aboriginal Career Advisor.
