In this practical, hands-on course, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and tools to recognise and work effectively with clients impacted by alcohol and/or other drugs.  Guided by highly qualified trainers with extensive real-world experience, you’ll learn how and why people may develop substance dependencies, explore the physiological and psychological effects of drugs and alcohol, and review a range of treatment options and their potential outcomes. 

You’ll also develop inclusive strategies to support and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Whether you’re starting your career or looking to strengthen your capabilities, this course will equip you to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
