Our expertise
Aged Care and Disability Enterprise Training Program
NMTAFE is partnering with enterprises and consortiums, specifically those in the social and allied health sector, to train existing full-time, parttime and casual workers to fill current skills gaps and future workforce requirements through traineeships and skill sets.
We believe keeping employees current with quality standards and best practice is a challenge due to the cost and backfilling of staff.
Our facilities
Joondalup (McLarty Avenue) campus
This campus features a state-of-the-art simulation hospital and nursing wards, giving our health and nursing students an understanding of what they will experience in their workplaces.
A Disability and Aged Care Workforce Training Centre, which features a Senior Wellness day Centre, provides both internal and exterior spaces for seniors and those with a disability to visit.
This simulated training experience allows students to gain valuable skills in providing assistance to clients with regaining independence, group activities and encouraging social interaction.
Mount Lawley campus
Our Mount Lawley campus focuses on delivering qualification in the health and nursing sectors. The campus a simulated hospital learning environment and a purpose built training space to deliver Allied Health qualifications to support growth within the aged care and disability sector.
