Get started on your journey into the diverse and expansive fields of CG art, animation, 3D modelling and games design.

With industry-standard software, you'll be introduced to the art of 3D modelling, 2D animation, digital art, and game development. Through this course you'll start your journey to becoming a skilled digital artist.

This course will prepare you with the foundation skills to use Photoshop, Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Game Maker, Premiere Pro and Toon Boom Harmony.

These skills will give you a solid base to continue into the Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation & Game Art).

Other skills developed during the course include:

  • Technical skills - proficiency in animation software packages.
  • Creative skills - concept development, scripting, storyboarding, character design, and world-building are key components of this course.
  • Teamwork and collaboration - some class activities are team-based, simulating a professional environment. You will develop the skills to document observations and experiences related to creative problem solving.
