How Apprenticeship

Consider a creative career in upholstery

Upholstery isn’t just about making furniture look great—it’s also good for the environment. Reupholstering helps reduce waste and saves resources by giving old furniture a new life. It’s a hands-on, creative job where you can design custom pieces that reflect personal style while supporting sustainability using a range of tools and materials to turn worn-out furniture into beautiful, functional items.

Upholsterers often collaborate with architects, interior designers, and private clients, crafting pieces that perfectly complement the vision of each space from exclusive hotels to luxury homes and custom design projects. Their work adds beauty, comfort, and personality to every environment , where craftsmanship truly meets art.

The Certificate III in Upholstery is an apprenticeship; please see the Apprenticeships section for more information.
