This hands-on skill set is designed for tradespeople looking to specialise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of backflow prevention devices

Through practical training and expert guidance, you’ll learn how to commission and maintain devices in line with industry regulations, and apply essential Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices

Whether you're upskilling or expanding your service offering, this course will give you the confidence and capability to work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Australian standards in a high-demand area of plumbing.

  • Learn skills in selecting and maintaining backflow devices
  • Service and troubleshoot backflow devices
  • Follow plumbing regulations and safety requirements
  • Communicate clearly and keep proper records
  • Meet the requirements of the technical regulator

  • Hold a current plumbing tradesperson or contractors licence
