Ready to build on your existing skills and unlock your creative potential as a fashion designer? Continue your journey with Perth’s leading fashion design school and challenge yourself to connect creativity with innovation and sustainability to shape the future of fashion.

This one-year course* will deepen your knowledge and strengthen your skills through:

  • Design and concept development

  • Advanced pattern making and sewing techniques

  • Development of trend- and market-focused fashion products

  • Experimental textile sampling using a range of materials and processes

  • Drawing and illustration

  • Garment, print and knitwear studio design

  • Global and local sustainable and circular fashion practices

  • Digital technologies, including computer-aided design (CAD)

Throughout the course, you may have opportunities to engage with our creative community through interdisciplinary collaborations, live industry briefs, exhibitions and runway shows, helping you build valuable industry experience and professional networks.

On completion, you’ll graduate with a diverse and industry-relevant skill set, preparing you for further study or a career in the fashion industry.

This course is only offered in semester one of each year.

*Students who have not completed the Certificate IV in Apparel and Fashion may be required to undertake an additional semester of study.
