This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. When you complete the Diploma of Hospitality Management you will be able to work as a functions manager, restaurant manager, or front office manager.

You will develop a broad range of managerial and industry-specific hospitality skills to effectively coordinate hospitality operations. Upon successful completion, you will be able to work independently, take responsibility for others, and make operational business decisions with confidence.

This course covers a wide range of essential topics, including financial management, regulatory compliance, staff rostering, stock purchasing and control, delivering quality customer service, and managing workplace conflict.

You'll gain hands-on experience while training in NMTAFE's fine dining, à la carte training restaurant or café, both open to the public.

When applying for this course, any prior study within the industry will be taken into consideration. If your previous study is limited, you may be directed to a more appropriate course level.
