Build the specialist skills you need to interpret between Auslan and English across a range of professional settings. You’ll develop your interpreting practice, with a focus on professional ethics, interpreting preparation, cultural awareness and effective communication.

This course is best suited to you if you have some interpreting experience and have completed a Diploma of Auslan. You’ll develop the knowledge and practical skills to prepare for and manage interpreting assignments with confidence and professionalism.

With this qualification and experience behind you, you could explore opportunities as an Auslan–English interpreter in community organisations, government, business and the private sector, helping connect Deaf and hearing communities.
