This 3-day course is ideal if you're an apprentice nearing the end of your training, a skilled migrant close to completing gap training, or someone returning to the Australian electrical industry after time away.

In this course, you’ll refresh essential skills including maximum demand, voltage drop, and Lmax calculations using AS/NZS 3008, and review a single-phase design task. You'll strengthen your understanding of Ohm’s Law with series and parallel resistors, revisit mandatory testing requirements under Section 8 of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), and practise fault-finding using installation test data sheets and fault boards—all designed to align with real-world applications and Capstone readiness.
