How On campus
- Safely operate and manoeuvre heavy vehicles in a range of road and traffic conditions.
- Secure, check, and manage loads to meet safety and stability requirements.
- Apply fatigue management practices and follow work/rest requirements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify defects, and maintain roadworthiness standards.
- Follow safe work practices and comply with transport industry safety regulations.
- Hold a current C Class driver’s licence.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old to meet training and licensing requirements.
- Physical ability to climb into vehicles, secure loads, and operate equipment safely.
- Ability to stay alert to traffic, road conditions, hazards, and blind spots.
- Ability to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and communicate professionally.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read safety information, complete logbooks, and follow procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
