How On campus

Explore the art of mould-making and casting in this hands-on skill set

You’ll be introduced to slip casting techniques used to replicate found objects, giving you the chance to create multiple castings from the moulds you develop.

You’ll also learn how to work with silicone to mould and cast small, textural objects in resin. Throughout the course, you’ll deepen your understanding of form, surface detail, and how different materials behave during the casting process.

  • Observe and replicate 3D forms
  • Make single-part and multi-part moulds with industry materials
  • Cast using plaster, resin, and other media
  • Clean, patch, and finish casts professionally
  • Follow the full workflow from sculpting to final casting
