In these interactive face-to-face workshops, you'll engage in practical exercises designed to enhance your foundational maths skills. Topics will cover key areas such as calculating percentages, converting fractions to decimals, and determining the area and perimeter of shapes, all tailored to the BKSB requirements. These hands-on workshops are both engaging and practical, applying numeracy skills to real-life scenarios to ensure you're well-prepared.
- Percentage calculations to calculate and interpret percentages
- Conversions between fractions, decimals, and percentages with confidence
- Measurement of shapes to calculate the area and perimeter of various shapes
- Problem-solving by applying numeracy skills to solve practical, real-world scenarios
- Are applying for the Diploma of Nursing but haven't recently studied maths and need to refresh their skills for the BKSB entry test
- Have attempted the BKSB test and met the English literacy requirement but need additional support in the maths/numeracy section
