North Metropolitan TAFE's Metal machining for beginners, will give you practical skills in basic machining on lathes, milling machines and ancillary machines such as pedestal drills and grinders by doing
You can bring in your own project to complete at our Midland campus workshop, discuss the suitability of your particular project with your lecturer.
Dress requirements
You will be required to wear personal protective clothing at all times which includes:
- steel capped safety boots,
- clear safety glasses
- long cotton drill pants, and
- cotton drill shirt.
