Become the real deal with just seven weeks of full-time study to earn your Plumbing Contractor’s Licence

On successful completion of this skill set, you will be able to apply to the Plumbing Licensing Board(opens in a new tab) (PLB), for your Plumbing Contractor’s Licence.

You will also gain the skills to be able to supervise works carried out by tradespersons and/or apprentices; build your own business; estimate job costs on water, sanitary and drainage systems, and much more.

You’ll need to successfully complete all of the units listed below to apply for the full Plumbing Contractor’s Licence. If however, you wish to specialise in only Drainage or Backflow and Water Supply, you will need to complete the core units and the units listed in your chosen specialisation.

Please note this skill set is experiencing high demand and places are limited.

BSBSEB402 Establish legal and risk management requirements of new business ventures Online (flexible and self-paced)  
CPCPCM4012 Estimate and cost work 1 day on campus 8.00am - 3.45pm plus 5 weeks to submit work. Wednesday - choose one from these dates:

CPCPCM4011 Carry out work-based risk control processes 1 day on campus 8.00am - 3.45pm plus 5 weeks to submit work. Thursdays - choose on from these dates:

1 day Induction 3.30pm to 7.00pm, plus
3 week block release on campus 8.00am - 3.45pm

Please note there is no stand-alone sanitary licence issued by the PLB. It can only be part of a drainage or backflow and water supply licence.
