Your first step into a licensed gas fitting trade

Ready to take the first step toward a career in the Gas Fitting industry? This short course gives you a clear introduction to the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999. With a strong understanding of Gas Safety, Basic Combustion and Flueing, you’ll be well‑positioned to begin your journey toward becoming a registered Gas Fitter.

On successful completion of this course a Statement of Attainment will be provided which will allow you to apply for your LGIRS Energy Safety for the 'Restricted Class G Gasfitting Permit to work under direct supervision' as a Trainee Gasfitter.

 

 

Reading and interpreting the Gas standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999, which includes understanding the regulations and guidelines necessary for safe and compliant gas fitting work.
