This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Begin on your pathway in a industry designed to conserve and restore natural environments

This course equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, implement, and complete ecological restoration works across a range of conservation settings.

You will learn how to:

  • establish work activities;
  • apply identified restoration treatments;
  • protect existing biota;
  • prepare and carry out assisted regeneration treatments;
  • carry out biological reintroduction treatments; and
  • secure and protect restored areas.

Successful completion of this skill set can provide you with credit towards achieving the Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
