Client Services Teams
Each NMTAFE campus has a dedicated Client Services team responsible for enrolment and scheduling of apprentices and trainees. Once your training contract is finalised by the AMT, it will be forwarded to the relevant campus team to begin the enrolment and scheduling process.
Support services for apprentices
Apprentices and trainees have access to a wide range of support services to help them achieve success — academically, professionally and personally. This includes:
- Academic learning support
- Student wellbeing and counselling
- Accessibility support – how we support our students
Evidence tracking (Ready Skills)
Some training areas require evidence of on-the-job learning as part of assessment. NMTAFE uses Ready Skills, an electronic profiling tool that helps apprentices record workplace activities and enables trainers to monitor progress against specific unit requirements.
For certain trades, including electrical, evidence tracking is a mandatory assessment requirement.
