Your credentials are going digital
From 16 November 2026, North Metropolitan TAFE will begin issuing digital credentials through My eQuals, an official credentials platform in Australia and New Zealand, while continuing to provide paper credentials during the transition period.
My eQuals is used by major universities in Australia and New Zealand, and a growing number of TAFE colleges and other providers.
From 16 November 2026, all WA TAFE colleges will issue new awards, qualifications and academic statements through My eQuals. Your credentials are digitally signed by North Metropolitan TAFE, tamper-evident and legally valid, so anyone you share them with can trust they're genuine.
Access them anywhere, anytime, and share them for employment, further study, professional registration or international credential checks.
For students and graduates
Getting your account
-
When your awards, certificates and academic statements are issued, you'll get an email from My eQuals with a link to your account.
-
If you're new to My eQuals, register using the same email address the notification was sent to. You'll then get a second email to activate your account.
-
Log in to view your credentials.
Please don't register on the My eQuals website before your email arrives. Your account won't show credentials until North Metropolitan TAFE issues them.
For graduates prior to 2026, to access your qualifications or credentials see Academic Records Request page for more info.
-
Keep your access: If you already have My eQuals from another provider, you can link your accounts.
-
Sharing: select Share, then send to an email address, create a secure link or choose a registered organisation. Add a PIN or expiry date to control who sees your credentials and for how long.
-
Cost: My eQuals is free to use.
-
Paper credentials: these continue during the transition, and are available on request post-transition with applicable fees.
-
Help: use Help and Take a Tour inside your account, or contact credentials@nmtafe.wa.edu.au
For employers and verifiers
North Metropolitan TAFE issues official credentials from 16th of November 2026 onwards through My eQuals. They're authentic, tamper-evident and legally valid.
To verify a North Metropolitan TAFE qualification, ask the student or graduate to share it with you through My eQuals. You can then check the credential online straight away.
Verification is moving from requests to the college to student-controlled sharing through secure verified my eQuals links. Any pre 16th of November 2026 verification requests can be sent through to credentials@nmtafe.wa.edu.au for validation.
We recommend accepting credentials shared through My eQuals rather than uncertified PDFs.
