Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Midland campus

Estimated reading time: 1 minute

2 June 2026

Koolark and our Diploma of Event management students would like to warmly invite you to join us in celebrating NAIDOC WEEK 2026 – “50 YEARS DEADLY”.

We are excited to announce that this year's NAIDOC event will be hosted at Midland campus.

This special event is an opportunity to come together to honour and celebrate the strength, culture, stories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is a time to reflect, learn, and celebrate the ongoing contributions of Indigenous communities, while recognising 50 years of deadly stories, success, and resilience.

We would love to see you all there to connect with community and be part of this meaningful celebration.

The day will include:

  • Dance and music performances
  • Brekkie burgers and native food
  • Interactive activities, including tote bag painting
  • Sports competitions with prizes
  • Hair braiding, BOOM radio and more!

When: Wednesday 3 June
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Where: Midland TAFE Campus

We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating NAIDOC Week 2026 together. This event is FREE.
