Estimated reading time: 1 minute

Monday 13 October

The WA Government has launched a bold new initiative - TAFE WA’s “You Can Make It Here” campaign to empower Western Australians to take charge of their futures through Vocational Education and Training (VET). Whether you're starting out, switching careers or looking to upskill, TAFE is making it easier to access to high quality training.

TAFE continues to expand its offering of low-fee and fee-free courses, designed to make training more accessible and open more doors to opportunity. These programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of WA’s economy in key sectors such as:

  • Building and Construction
  • Childcare and Aged Care
  • Healthcare
  • Renewable Energy

'You Can Make It Here' features current students, including NMTAFE students, and showcases how Western Australians can build a successful and rewarding career through TAFE and take advantage of hundreds of fee-free or low-fee courses.

The campaign also highlights the critical role of affordable training in delivering a skilled workforce for WA.
