You could improve your reading, writing, maths and personal skills as well as enhance your employment opportunities with this bridging/preparatory qualification.
This course will enable you to build on your knowledge and skills in communication, numeracy, technology, study skills, personal development and career development. It will also help you to progress into further education and training by building confidence in a flexible and supportive environment.

To start this course in:
- Semester 1 - you need to have turned 15 years old by January 31.
- Semester 2 - you need to have turned 15 years old by June 30.
All applicants for Midland - Swan City Youth Service must be 15-24 years old.
All applicants for Midland - Ellenbrook Youth Centre must be 15 - 24 years old. Priority is given to students from Ellenbrook and surrounds.
We also recommend that you have the following attributes:
- A desire to build confidence and re-engage with learning
- Able to solve unplanned problems related to project completion
- Able to monitor and review own performance in achieving learning goals
- Strong work ethic with a desire to pathway into a TAFE course or employment
- Solid English oral and written communication
- Able to send and receive email, read procedures and safety sheets etc.
