This course offers you the opportunity for creative expression and experimentation in producing jewellery and products..
You'll gain practical skills and knowledge to create and communicate design concepts. You will also learn to evaluate design solutions and communicate your ideas effectively.
Over the semester, you'll dive into 2D design principles and processes, create basic 3D models using both digital and traditional methods, explore colour theory, and practice your drawing skills.
More importantly you'll gain hands-on experience designing and creating products and jewellery.
This is the perfect foundation in product and jewellery design and with AI technology integrated throughout the curriculum, you'll discover new and exciting ways to apply your design skills and start on your path to a career in the creative industries.
You'll have you the tools needed to venture into jewellery design or product design for industry. You'll gain the skills to design in a specific industry context and apply techniques to product design. You'll also learn how to make scale models, a building block in the world of design.
