This course was developed to meet licensing requirements of the WA Electrical Licensing Board for an Electrician's Licence.
If you've been advised to undergo a competency assessment, this course will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to:
- Inspect and test an electrical installation and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Design and install low voltage electrical wiring in domestic premises, inclusive of wiring enclosures, cable support systems and cable accessories
- Work safely in the electrical industry
- Meet the requirements of mandatory reporting and
- Terminate cables and connecting accessories to comply with installation standards
