Become a confident entry level animator
Continuing on from the CUA41220-AC87-Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation and CG Artistry) you will further refine your skills in 3D animation, 2D animation, post production and visual effects, sound, and writing.
You will be introduced to Real-time rendering and Virtual environments using the Unreal game engine, you'll also gain skills to prepare you for working as an artist in the industry, and undertake your first animation production in a team environment.
Upon completion you will be ready to enter the next stage: CUA60620-AC88–Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Animation and Visual Effects) at Joondalup campus.
New students applicants are recommended to have completed the Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation and CG Artistry), or to possess equivalent industry experience, prior to enrolling in this course. Applicants who have not completed the course that precedes this qualification should contact the relevant study area to ensure they apply for the appropriate level of study.
This course will only be offered in semester 1 each year.
