This qualification provides you with the basic skills and knowledge to use digital technology in the workplace across a range of information and communication technology (ICT) areas, including using office applications, workplace skills, and an introduction to design and digital imaging.

Our Certificate II Applied Digital Technologies lecturer has extensive experience in supporting students with a wide range of learning needs. Units are delivered over the year to provide students with the best opportunity to succeed.

You will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of foundation digital skills which can lead to career pathways in the ICT, design, or business industries, or any role where computers are used.

This course is full-time (9 hours per week), typically spread over 3 days. An additional 6 hours per week is provided via enrolment in free USIQ units to support those with additional learning needs.

There will be a combination of online and on campus delivery for some units.

Study outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation, and research will be required to successfully complete your course.

Bring your own device (BYOD) is encouraged but not essential. If you don’t have access to a computer and WiFi at home, we recommend using our library computers during library hours.

As a student you will also have additional costs associated with your study, for example text books and stationery, printing and other materials required for your assignments.
