Networking is one of the fastest growing areas in IT

Networking sits underneath almost every business decision today — cloud, security, remote work, AI tooling, all of it. This Certificate IV is your dedicated specialisation track. You will work on real training networks, configure real routers and switches, and graduate ready to step into junior network roles or progress straight into the Diploma.

What you will build
  • Working networks built across Microsoft, Linux and Cisco IOS environments
  • Hands-on router and switch configuration experience
  • Practical security implementation across multiple operating systems
  • Confidence with virtual machines, wireless, cloud storage and infrastructure devices
  • Documentation and communication skills employers actually ask for
  • Install and build networks using Microsoft, Linux and Cisco IOS operating systems and services
  • Monitor and maintain these systems
  • Implement the security features of these operating systems
  • Configure routers and switches
  • Build on effective communication, documentation and general business skills

This course may suit you if any of the following sounds like you:

  • You can apply analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • You communicate clearly in writing and in person
  • You manage your time well and meet deadlines
  • You can work both independently and as part of a team
