Gain the fundamentals of networking in a customised, small group, Cisco lab environment
This course is designed for you if you are an entry-level Network Engineer, Network Specialist, Administrator, or Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience.
This course prepares you to sit the CCNA1 exam and builds a strong foundation in core networking skills. You will learn in small, supportive class sizes with instructor-led delivery from start to finish. Throughout the course, you will gain hands-on skills to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized routed and switched networks, giving you practical capability you can apply in real-world environments.
This course is an introduction course and a basic understanding of computers and Linux is desirable.
- Networking fundamentals and how devices communicate across networks
- Basic IP addressing and subnetting concepts
- Network protocols and their role in data communication
- Installation and configuration of routers and switches
- Connecting and configuring devices within a network
- Ethernet and wireless networking technologies
