Would you like to be an important part of a team assisting clients to return to better health?
The Pathology Collection Skill Set, which you will complete under the supervision of a trained phlebotomist, will give you the skills to obtain blood samples from a patient for laboratory testing and get you job ready for working in hospital wards or outpatient clinics, GP clinics and specialist rooms, home collection services and other public and private healthcare settings.
You’ll gain the skills and knowledge to perform a pathology collection role, comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures, and be able to identify and respond to clinical risks in pathology collection.
